Casablanca retail points secured in year one

The Context

Cave & Comptoir has imported and distributed wine and specialty groceries in France for fifteen years. The company had identified Casablanca as a natural expansion market — a growing urban customer base, strong interest in imported fine foods — but lacked any framework for structuring a retail entry into a market it didn’t understand from the inside.

What We Did

Our market-entry team ran a market study focused on Casablanca retail distribution, identified and approached an initial shortlist of potential distribution partners, and structured a local positioning plan with a sales narrative adapted to Moroccan retail buyer expectations. Close first-90-days follow-through allowed the approach to be adjusted quickly based on field feedback.

The Result

Within one year, Cave & Comptoir secured 18 retail points in Casablanca — exceeding the initial target of 12 retail points set at the start of the engagement.
